2009-10 Hurster Cup Championships

Hurster Cup

The Hurster Cup Championship teams are set.  The top four regular season teams won their weekend best of 3 series to qualify for the Hurster Cup Championship hosted by the St. Louis Jr. Blues. 

St. Louis qualified with a two game sweep over the Quad City Jr. Flames.  Dubuque needed overtime in their second game to sweep the Chicago Force.  After dropping game one, Cleveland roared back to beat Queen City 2 games to 1.  Finally, Pittsburgh rolled over Toledo in the match-up of 4th and 5th place teams. 

All four teams will maintain their seedings heading to St. Louis.  Top seed will be St. Louis, 2nd seed is Dubuque, 3rd seed is Cleveland and the 4th seed is Pittsburgh.

The round robin schedule is as follows:

Thursday 3/18
3:30 PM Dubuque vs Pittsburgh
7:30 PM St. Louis vs Clevleland

Friday 3/19 
3:30 PM Cleveland vs Pittsburgh
7:30 PM St. Louis vs Dubuque 

Saturday 3/20
4:00 PM St. Louis vs Pittsburgh 
8:00 PM Dubuque vs  Cleveland 

Sunday 3/21
